Am I buying a physical prop or a digital file?
The props, masks, crowns and display pieces in our current catalog are physical products. Check the individual listing and selected option for exactly what is included. Gallery builds are portfolio examples and are not automatically available to purchase.
What is the difference between raw and painted?
A raw or unpainted option is for you to finish. A hand-painted option includes the finish described in that listing. Some props also have an assembled option. These are not interchangeable: choose the finish you need before adding to your cart. Our Fit & Finish Guide explains the current choices.
How do I choose a size?
Use the measurements in the individual product description. Size labels are product-specific; a Medium crown and a Medium mask do not share a universal fit standard. Where a dimension or measuring method is unclear, contact us before ordering rather than guessing.
Why does a price say “From”?
That is the lowest price among the product's options. The price changes with your selected size or finish. A photo of a painted example does not mean the lowest-priced raw option arrives painted.
Can I request a new custom build?
Please check Commission Status before requesting work. A standard painted option already offered on a product is different from a new bespoke commission.
Can my order arrive before a convention?
Contact us before ordering with the product, finish, destination and event date so we can confirm the current timing. Production time and carrier transit time are separate. Do not assume an inventory count means an item is ready for immediate dispatch.
What about shipping, cancellations or returns?
Contact us with your product or order details for the applicable shipping, cancellation, return or damage information. Please confirm time-sensitive requirements before purchasing.
Where can I see customer feedback?
Visit Reviews from the Forge for selected Etsy feedback and links to the original source.
New custom commissions are temporarily paused due to holiday demand.
This pause applies to new bespoke builds. Standard products and the selectable finish options already offered in our catalog are separate from a new commission; check the individual product for its current availability.
